The Carolina Wombats is a youth organization comprised of competitive 10U and 12U fastpitch softball teams and a 10U baseball team. Every day, our players strive to be the best!

The Wombats play to win, but more importantly, we play for fun! Our coaching staff is committed to providing a positive and inclusive team culture, and places emphasis not only on athletic skill development and healthy competition but also on character building, teamwork and sportsmanship. We appreciate the vital role youth sports plays in instilling life skills and a passion for a healthy, active lifestyle, and strive to create an environment where every player feels valued, fostering a sense of belonging and motivation to improve. In return, we do ask our players and their families to be committed to their Wombats team, as each individual player is vital to the team's success as a whole.

The Wombats teams practice throughout Waxhaw, Indian Land, and the surrounding area. We play a competitive local and regional tournament schedule in both the spring and fall seasons. Come join us and be a part of something great!
